Over 20 years ago, our founder, Andre Depelteau, and his son Richard began a modest building enterprise. In 2007, Andre founded Knotty Pine Cabins Inc., expanding the business to construct over a thousand cabins and homes across the USA and Canada.
In 2022, the reins of Knotty Pine Cabins were passed to Andre's daughter, Alana, and her husband, Jeremy, who now proudly own and operate the business. Andre's son Richard continues to serve as the factory manager.
Despite stepping back, Andre couldn't resist the urge to keep building. His passion for creating Timber Built Homes and other structures led to the exciting launch of Timber Built Homes. Looking to the future, Andre hopes that his other son will eventually take over the company.
